VUMeter is a fun-tool to display the sound level. VUMeter presents the current sound level using different views.

Furthermore VUMeter provides many configuration options. You can e.g. store the recorded sound levels to a file, trigger a command based on sound level, or configure the colors shown in some views. Please note that VUMeter is intended as “fun application” and does most likely not display the exact sound level.

VUMeter is currently available for Maemo Fremantle (N900) and can be installed via the application manager from the extras repository. A port to MeeGo / Harmattan is in work.
